People try to tell me what to do for a living, what price I should charge, how to deliver my service. Parents, friends, partners, vendors, customers, prospects all assert their opinion. I have the power to define these things and I must have the courage to stand up for myself and not get placed into a predefined box

Reject the Herd

I will not blindly follow the herd over the cliff, I will think and act for myself and constantly illuminate my uniqueness to the marketplace. If everyone else is blasting resumes to job boards, I’ll replace that activity with researching a desirable company to work for and engage directly with the hiring manager, regardless of the existence of a job posting.
